About Nonogram (Picross)

Nonogram is a logic puzzle where you fill a grid using row and column clues. Numbers at the edge of each row/column tell you how many consecutive filled cells appear — for example "3 1" means a run of 3 filled cells, then a gap, then 1 more. Solve the puzzle to reveal a pixel picture!

How to Play

  1. Look at the clue numbers along the top (columns) and left (rows).
  2. Each number tells you the length of a consecutive run of filled cells.
  3. Multiple numbers mean multiple runs in order with at least one gap between them.
  4. Click to fill a cell, click again to mark it with ✕ (empty reminder), click again to clear.
  5. Click Check when you think you've solved it!

Controls

  • Click cell — Fill / mark / clear (cycles through states)
  • Fill / Mark mode — Toggle between fill and cross-mark modes
  • Check button — Verify your solution
  • Clear button — Reset the grid

Frequently Asked Questions

A ✕ mark is a reminder that you know that cell is empty. It doesn't affect the solution check — only filled cells are checked.
